Sunny you gotta TAKE A HIKE !!!

Have you notice hot hot it has gotten lately ? My poor , poor students , with fever so high , some are admitted into the hospitals ............ I sent two home today . High fever ... what else ..

I had a nose bleeder today and the poor girl , what a mess on her uniform and in the toilet ..... I got her cleaned up and she went home early ....... I mean it's so hot that the little ones suffer .

I had eight students in class for the past two days . It was a boring day today . I mean , at times I wished I had only eight students to teach but................ I kinda miss them .

I do hope they get better . Even their friends are wondering why , Well it's no lie for the next person to be on MC will be ME , I hope this will not be true .

Let's see tomorrow..................................

The Promise

True to my word , I promised myself not only will I get a handbag for myself but I will also make a promise to myself that , each time when I receive my salary , I will buy a book to read ....................for ME .

I know it may seem not much but I promise to fill up my entire bookshelf with books . I don't care , If the author is famous or not, I will go and get a book every month . I owe this to myself , I work hard like everyone else , I don't ask much ,I don't hang out with friends and since I have not been dating ................. ( like as if I ever had !!!!!). Since I am still single ............. this is the next best thing that I will do . Books , books , books and more books .

With pride in my heart , I will walk to Popular book store and get a book to read !!! Sounds silly ?

the day of the whites

You must be wondering what kind of whites I am talking about . It's none other than a white board . All I can say it's huge and I feel like Vanna White now with a pose here and there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It takes me 3 steps to get to the other end of the white board now . Amazing . I write and draw bigger now . I did not dream that my white board turned out to be huge . One student said that it's like a big TV screen . The only thing is , it's white .

Friends have visited my class and they are so green with envy .... well ,I did ask for a white board ... see now .... how huge it is ?

So over the moon Today

YOu know what ? I have posted about 90 posts since I started blogging and I really don't mind if no one ever reads them . That is how happy I am today . Today was a very happy day indeed for me .

Why ?

Well for starters my students are able to read , count , identify simple words/sentences and I am just so glad about it . Now, to some it may not be a big deal but to me , it is ......

I am happy , I will go to class feeling happy , I will come home feeling happy and I will sleep happily tonight . Can't wait for tomorrow ......

Lost and Found

Yesterday we went to church as usual however, being a feast day , it was so crowded . So we went upstairs to sit and to tell you the truth , for the past three years ,yesterday, was the first time ever we went upstairs to sit .

We had visitors from every church yesterday and even people from Singapore !!! Ha! believe it all you want !!! As usual mum went to book us a seat but when we got there , four other people shared our seat and it was too cramped . So we decided to go and look for another bench to sit . During that time , we still had ample of seats there but mum wanted to change seats again .

I clearly remembered bringing along my hankie , hand phone and my purse . So as we left to go to another seat I happen to just take my hand phone and my hankie . I did not realized that I had left my purse behind .


All was fine until I wanted to put some money for donation and that was when I noticed that my purse was missing . I could not pray and was worried . As I turned around , I happen to see my friend and her family , at the bench where we sat earlier . What a relief because I know that I will get back my purse

True enough , I went over and there ,Lo and Behold was my purse .... I was over the moon and I promised the LOrd that I will this time go and buy a handbag for myself !!!!

The moral of the story is ;
a) go buy handbag
b) it's time to grow up and keep your own things instead of putting them into
mum's bag.

So Happy And Glad

I have been happy and glad for many things that comes my way . Today was a nice happy day because , finally I can sense and see that my students are improving little by little . It's a long shot but I guess ,it seems okay for me . I remember , not so long ago they were struggling to write , read and even to color but for now I am happy that they believe in themselves and they feel that they can do it !!!


It may seem nothing to some but to them, it's a whole lot of leaps and steps . I believe , deep down in my heart , they will succeed by the end of the year and I for one would be a happy camper ..................... till next year when it all begins again .

I guess this is a teacher's life , always making sure that everything is in order before her students leave her ..... sigh !!!!

Why??

I just don't get it how some people like to twist and turn stories . I mean can't they just say it's was thier fault instead of poiting fingers at others ? It could only mean one thing . They are bullies . Some actually does it because they themselves are afriad.

Maybe they are so afraid that they will not get some sort of support from friends . But it gets to me . I mean if you have made a mistake just own up and say sorry . TO ERR IS HUMAN.

Why ???

Reputation , standard , water face !!!! Will drop and most probably all their gold teeth will fall out from their mouth if they were to say sorry , thanks or utter some words of encouragement .


Why???

I can't do much but all I can do is .... I in turn will not be like them . If I am wrong , I will apologize and if I am right well and good !!!
