A pig I slept like ;when all I could think of was the color pink;
A pig I slept like; when everything was going my way;


A pig I slept like; for I snored through the night;
A pig I slept like; for there was no tomorrow;


A pig I slept like ;for all in my head was that funny kinda hum;
A pig I slept like;when I sang that song;


A pig I slept like; and not much I could do;
A pig I slept like ; when the alarm of my clock went and it was time to wake up !!

I speak and I have spoken

I was not nervous for I was prepared and I came prepared , It was like a prayer which I said to myself that I desire to do this right , what ever it took to get it right.

Eyes were watching me and my every move . I can't screw this up as I had people depending on me , the children ... It was always the children that mattered the most , I could not let them down . I need to show them what I was made of .

It was something that I normally would not do and I would back out straight away without batting an eyelid. Funny , I could have said NO but I did not .

I embraced what was said and I knew what I must do . No more running away this time I would meet it head on . I will not falter nor sway in what I am about to do .

I asked to be calm and relaxed for the day , as I opened my mouth to speak I knew that , I have overcome my shyness. No turning back now . It's with great gladness , joyfulness and thankfulness that not only was it a perfect day, it was also a day of how I found myself.

Teacher Can Your Roar ?

It was a quiet day in class and all of a sudden there was a roar in my class . Now, how could that be ?
For I was sure , there were no lions or tigers in my class,
It's okay I thought , it's their way of having fun ,
But I was wrong for the roar went out of control.

The whole class started to roar and they were giggling alright!!!!!!!!!
Well I asked a few boys to roar in front of the class , a grunt or two made it's way in . It was a pretty fun sight and we had the giggles from the girls ...
It may sound silly at that time but the whole class had fun doing it .

And as for me , that is just a normal day in class , with laughter and tears and I would not trade it for anything less.

MY Shoes Went rippppp.........................

My shoes went rippp;
and all I could think was of the new pair that I would buy;
It may sound familiar to you , but the time has come to get a new pair instead;
That buying bug bit me when I saw an ad in the papers just the other day !

Oh my ! what a shine and a bargain .... I have to have that pair but my old shoes are still okay . Out to the field we went one sunny morning and how we embraced what we saw there ,

For there at the tracks were two goal posts and all the memories came flooding in ... how once upon a time I would run free in the field . Alas , I thought what a sight to behold when I started a short jog as all of my limbs are fully retired ! And jog that I did and I had so much fun ... being free and surrounded by something so familiar to me.

On and on I went , it felt to so good at last . We were there for hours and the heat was beat and on us. Soon it was time to go , I hated to leave my once upon a time cool place , but we had to go .

With my shoes still going strong , I willed myself to send the kids home, up and down I went .... Finally , as I sat down to rest and I saw the most shocking scene . To my horror , my shoes came apart . It was a huge tear . Oh , what would I do !

The sports is this Sunday and I need a pair fairly quick . I said goodbye and a prayer for my torn shoes . It has served me well . It's out of pain now and I threw it in the bin....

..... for now , sitting at the corner of my room is my new pair of sports shoes , I promise to treat it with honor and respect this time.

It's Over............................... for now

What a week of exams ............... phew , finally it's over . Finished marking all of the papers and what next ? I asked myself .

We , have come to the end errr.................. it has ended and now we have to fill in the progress reports .... shucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's that time again .

What will I say or write .... maybe I could just say something simple , short and sweet .... hey wait a minute , teachers are not supposed to be sweet y'all !!!!!!!!!!!

I mean we even can't say the child is dumb even though deep down we know that he /she is . Hey ,this remark is so cruel !! . Forget I said that . Okay maybe not dumb in that sense . Better still .. my teacher is so dumb that she forgot how to count ? Or how about this .... my teacher is so clueless that she can't even understand herself !!!!

Yeah it's okay I make fun of me ... after all it's teachers day today ... so happy teacher's day out there .

Exams Fever and Saturday Nights Fever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's here once again . No, I normally do not dread exam week because I am not the one who is sitting for it !!!


Tell ya, it's the simplest form of exams . They go home and learn what is going to come out and with that simple open book test, there are those who still make mistakes . So cute ............. just to look at them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially when you have some smarty pants in your class , and they go round helping their friends!!!!!

Whatever it is I know they try their best not to let ME down. Having said that, there are parents who are never satisfied , well I just can't please everybody.

It's not a big thing but they will be chaos when so and so had higher marks than her child and it's not fair.

Life is never fair . It squeezes the living daylights out of you :) It also depends on how you look at life ................

Anyway , tomorrow is another brand new day and we will just see how they do ...

Mistress Of Ceremony???? '............. Is there such a thing as this?

Okay I have been asked to be the MC for my sports day . So far as of yesterday , I have not had the feeling of chickening out if you are wondering .......... What I will do is , I will have a few practices in front of the mirror .

My stomach is good, not acting up...................yet . Still however , remains to be seen . Cool I am cool ... as a cucumber . Here are what some of the little snides that I have come across since Thursday ...................... ( please go fill in the blanks !!!! ) Yes , I marah .

a) Eh , you better announce properly ah or else .................
b) Your English must be good ah !
c) You don't panic us ah !
d) What la you ,this simple thing you can't do ah !

I am patient . okay you guys, you have said all you want to . Just wait till the end of the sports day and see what happens . No , I will not point fingers but I will blame everyone except Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
